Welcome to Linda's Art & Collectables; an online store that holds original artwork and vintage keepsakes.  My name is Linda and I am an artist, musician, and antique merchant.  One thing I learned early on in my studies of being an artist, is that I have the ability to design anything that I can imagine with many media choices.  So I chose recycled material.  I find "awe" in withered artifacts and beauty in decrepit things.  As Michelangelo believed that the sculpture was already present within the stone, I, too, see a new potential in the insignificant object that no longer glows with excitement.  And in addition, it is my contribution to reducing the landfills on our loving planet Earth.  So, simply put, most of my artistry is manifested from articles of years gone by, or, things that others just don't want anymore.  As the famous saying goes, "someone's trash is another ones treasure".   I also have a passion for canvas and paint in which you will find in my online store as well.  I hope you enjoy shopping Linda's Art & Collectables.  I am happy to be sharing it with you and thank you for taking the time to look!  Enjoy!
